Data Retention

This page summarizes how long Peekle keeps personal and learning data. Details may also appear in the Privacy Policy. Contact: support@peekle.app.

While your account is active

We keep profile, preferences, and learning history needed to run the product (progress, vocab, attempts, completions, membership status synced from the stores).

Account deletion (30-day grace)

1. Request deletion from Profile → Delete account, or email support@peekle.app from your account address (see Delete account).
2. We mark the account for deletion and schedule permanent erasure 30 days later.
3. During that window you can sign in and cancel deletion to keep your data.
4. After the grace period, we permanently delete your Peekle account data from our application database and remove the auth user where applicable.

Some backups or security logs may linger for a limited operational window, then expire.

Specialized retention

• Vocab sync receipts: applied receipts ~180 days; rejected ~30 days (operational).
• Soft-removed vocab cards: kept for integrity of interaction history until account purge.
• Support email: messages you send to support may be retained as needed to resolve your request.

Data export

Programmatic export is not yet available in-app. Request a copy of your data via Help & Contact or support@peekle.app; we will respond within a reasonable time.
