Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the end user license agreement (“EULA”) for Peekle. They are an agreement between you and Aydin Yumusak, the developer and operator of Peekle (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Peekle you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Peekle. Our full contact details are under Developer and contact below.

The service

Peekle is a language-learning application with practice, vocab, adventures, and optional community/creator features. Features may change. Access may depend on a free trial, paid trial, or subscription offered through Apple App Store or Google Play.

License to use Peekle

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Peekle for your personal, non-commercial language learning on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or redistribute Peekle, or use it in any way these Terms do not allow. If you obtained Peekle from the Apple App Store, the Apple App Store terms below also apply to this license.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account from Profile (30-day grace period before permanent erasure — see Data Retention and Delete account).

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Peekle: no illegal content, harassment, spam, scraping, reverse engineering that violates law or store rules, or attempts to disrupt the service. Community and creator content must follow our Community Guidelines. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users: you can report content and block users in the app, we review reports within 24 hours, and we remove violating content and may permanently remove users who post it.

Content

• Your content: You retain rights to content you submit. You grant Peekle a license to host, display, and moderate it as needed to operate the service.
• Our content: App UI, curricula, and Peekle-authored adventures remain ours or our licensors’. Do not copy them outside personal learning use without permission.
• Third-party / AI-assisted: Generated or community adventures may be imperfect; use them as practice material, not professional advice.

Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Manage or cancel in your store account or via in-app subscription management. Refunds follow store policy.

Maintenance and support

We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for Peekle, as described in these Terms or as required by applicable law. For help, contact support@peekle.app. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Peekle.

Third-party terms

When using Peekle you must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement — for example, your wireless data service agreement with your mobile carrier, the terms of the app store you downloaded Peekle from, and the terms of any third-party sign-in service you use.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Peekle is provided “as is” and “as available.” Learning outcomes vary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free content. Any warranty that cannot be effectively disclaimed under applicable law is our sole responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection law.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You may stop using Peekle and request deletion anytime.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Peekle from the Apple App Store, you and we acknowledge and agree to the following. If anything in this section conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this section prevails.

1. Parties. These Terms are concluded between you and us only, and not with Apple Inc. or its subsidiaries (“Apple”). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Peekle and its content. These Terms do not provide usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; if they would, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions prevail.
2. Scope of license. The license granted to you for Peekle is a non-transferable license to use Peekle on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that Peekle may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
3. Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for Peekle, as specified in these Terms or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to Peekle.
4. Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of Peekle to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for Peekle to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Peekle, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be our sole responsibility.
5. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Peekle or your possession and/or use of Peekle, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that Peekle fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. These Terms do not limit our liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
6. Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that Peekle or your possession and use of Peekle infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Developer name and address. Our name, address, telephone number, and email address, to which any questions, complaints, or claims about Peekle should be directed, are listed under Developer and contact below.
9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Peekle (for example, you must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement when using Peekle).
10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
